Papa Ps...our story

Since Alberto came to the states at the age of 16 and Caron at the age of 22, we have lived the American dream. Arriving with next to nothing and knowing no one. We have made our place in American society. Through hard work and perseverance we have established a home, 4 wonderful children and Caron has a small home business for the last 6 years.




Alberto has been working in food since his was a child at his aunt’s taco restaurant in Mexico. He has been in the kitchen for the last 22 years in the US. He has worked for the Peasant group early on – his first job in Atlanta was Mick’s on Peachtree, the Buckhead Life group – Buckhead diner, Rio Grande Cantina (where is became head chef), El Azteca. He worked for Gordon Biersch from June 1997 – July 2012. Advancing to Sous Chef in 2003 and to Executive Chef in 2006. In the last few years he has been involved hands on with 2 restaurant openings. In June 2009 the Gordon Biersch (formerly Rock Bottom) closed and reopened as a different brand name under the same company) and the other was in Buffalo NY Oct 2011, where he was invited to be one of the consulting chefs for the company, in their newest restaurant opening.





Caron has worked in the restaurant business for 10 years, front of the house, with 9 years management experience. She started waiting tables and moved swiftly into management. She worked for 5 years at Rio Grande Cantina, 4 of those as general manager and 5 years at The Buckhead Bread Company and Corner Café, 2 years as assistant manager and 3 as general manager. She left the restaurant business to work from home and raise their children while they were babies. She started her own home business 7 years ago, sewing home décor.
